The everyday one-person stairwell evacuation chair.
The HALO Swift is the workhorse of the range: a lightweight evacuation chair a single person can operate to bring a mobility-impaired passenger safely down a stairwell when the elevators are out. No heavy lifting, no second operator required.
It's the chair you put one of in every stairwell, on every floor — wall-mounted in a cabinet, ready the moment it's needed.
One operator wheels the passenger to the stairwell and controls the descent with a double-handed, anti-slip grip. A unique self-braking friction-belt track regulates the speed and smoothness of the descent, so the operator guides rather than lifts. On flat ground, a kickstand and rear wheels deploy so the chair rolls easily to and from the stairs.
